Audience
The Workshop is primarily intended for robotics researchers, i.e. the attendance of ICRA 2011, and the theme of Roboethics will be analyzed and discussed from a perspective that can be interesting and useful to researchers developing new robotic machines, in their different forms.
Secondarily the workshop is thus open to, and strongly encourages, the participation of researchers from other communities, both in science and humanities.
This will also provide the robotics researchers with an opportunity for a wide-range cultural exchange, especially important in the perspective of educating young roboticists to interdisciplinarity among technical disciplines and to transdisciplinarity among engineering, life science and humanities.
